SPICED PECANS 2

 

1 c sugar

l/2 c water

l (scant) t salt

l/2 t nutmeg

2 t cinnamon

 

Boil ingredients until soft boil.  Take off fire and pour in 1/2 lb

pecans.  Stir until sugared, then pour on wax paper, spreading out nuts.

When hardened, break apart.

l lb of pecans = 2 l/4  cups
