Banana Raisin Cookies

3/4 c butter or margarine

1 c sugar

1 egg

1 c mashed ripe banana

1 T grated orange peel

1 t vanilla

1 1/2 c sifted all-purpose flour

1 t salt

1/2 t soda

1 1/2 c rolled oats

1 c raisins

Soften and cream butter, orange peel, sugar and egg with mixer.  Add mashed

banana and vanilla.  Mix in sifted dry ingredients.  Stir in oats and

raisins.  Drop by T on greased cookie sheet.  Bake 10 min at 375 until

golden brown.
